Thus, assisting our customers to achieve total satisfaction for their customers.

Management & Ownership

Emperor Foods is headed up by Mr Jan Porter, Managing Director and owner, with part-owner Mrs Jo Anne Porter of Emperor Foods, with some 40 years combined food manufacturing experience assisted by his highly skilled industry professionals: a staff complement of approximately 300 individuals.

Emperor Food Manufacturing is based on a carefully conceived business strategy that was jointly developed by Jo-Ann Buyeye, who holds a 51% majority interest in the new entity, and Jan Porter, the founder and owner of Emperor Foods CC.

Emperor Foods is level 2 BBBEE compliant

Formed in strict accordance with the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act of 2013 and the Codes of Good Practice that came into force with effect, on 1 May 2015, Emperor Foods Manufacturing has been certified as a Level 2 B-BBEE entity with a procurement recognition level of 125%.
